Just a quick picture of Colten in his Halloween costume!  He was a little fireman due to his obsession with firetrucks and their sirens.  This is just prior to trick-or-treating, which he did very well with!

Colten had a busy weekend.  The Homecoming Parade Friday night followed by dinner at Fiesta, three different parks and the Concord Zoo on Saturday, and Harvest Fest at State Fair on Sunday!

At the Concord Zoo with a goat in the background.

One ugly alpaca!!!

Having fun!

Just before lunch at Harvest Fest.

Loving the carousel!

We are teaching Colten to talk in sentences.  Here's a video of him talking and incorporating a few of his signs as well.  It's too cute!

Where has the summer gone?  Here are a few pictures over the last month.

Early August, enjoying watermelon in Lakewood.

Colten loves his green chair that we keep up north.

Yum...spaghetti!

Playing in the sand at the beach.

Colten met Superman...he wasn't too impressed.  Maybe in a few years!

Driving the cart at Home Depot.

Holding his raffle ticket at a fundraiser in Townsend.

A family photo with a distracted Colten.

A few new pictures!

Colten is so intrigued by water!

Love this funny face!

When we were up north the other weekend we saw pig wrestling.  It was so fun to watch!  They even had kids (around 5 yrs old) in the pen with the pigs trying to get them in a big bucket.  Colten had a blast watching.  Maybe he'll sign up next year!!!

Looking at the pigs.

There was a fire truck at the pig wrestling event.  A nice fireman let Colten and my dad sit in the truck while the sirens and lights were on.  Colten absolutely loved it.  It was difficult tearing him away from the truck!

Colten's first hair cut was last weekend.  Here's a before picture.

During the cut....

After the cut!

Later that night showing off his new hair cut again.

At a graduation party for my cousin Aubrey.  Colten is checking out the ladies :)

Just being silly.

Colten playing with Blake.

Sweatshirt in July...something's wrong here!

Colten enjoyed wheelbarrow rides while Paul reinstalled our fence that fell during a storm earlier this year.

For my birthday Paul, Colten and I went to the Jefferson County Fair.  Colten was so interested in looking at all the animals, tractors, and lights from the fair rides.  Great way to spend my birthday!

Colten sitting on my gift...a Bullet!
I made Colten a smoothing today with spinach, carrot, blueberry, banana, and yogurt.
He couldn't get enough of it!  Great way to incorporate veggies to the diet.

At the fair with the tractor pull in the background.

Just after eating lunch.

A nice man let Colten sit on his tractor.
He's signing "motorcycle" in the picture.  Now we need to teach him the sign for "tractor"!

Playing at the Imagination Station later in the day.

Pointing out the helicopter.

Playing with the sprinkler this weekend.  He's so interested in how everything works!

We had a fantastic time up north over July 4th!  Boat rides on two lakes, Townsend parade, the beach, park, Harry & Laurie's, Northern D'Lites, and exploring the cabin.  Colten loved every minute of it.  We can't wait to go back!

At home in the "recycling closet".
Colten made a chair out of the paper to be recycled.

Colten is ready to take the keys and drive the Mustang!

Up North Wednesday afternoon.
Colten and I drove up early with my dad.  They had a lot of fun together!

I love this with the boat in the background.

At the Townsend parade, getting ready to see all the trucks!

Right after taking his fist lick of a Popsicle.  It was a hit!

Northern D'Lites...trying to poach my ice cream!

Cuddling with Auntie Hailey.

He looks like such a tough guy here!  My little Redneck!

Too cool for Mama.  He's looking at all the boats in the lake.

On Little Pickerel Lake.

Loving his very own Adirondack chair.  It matches Nana's!

I love kisses from my little boy!

Driving the boat with the help of Uncle Jason.

Having fun running around naked and looking out the window with Paul.
